This wine represents the best selection of grapes which are destined to the production of Chianti Classico. They come from our vineyards around the Campoli area whose morphology is suitable for wines which need long aging. After 20 days of fermentation, it is aged in oak barrels (capacity 2,500-3,000 litres) and french oak tonneaux (capacity 350 litres). It is made from a blend of 3 different grapes: Sangioveto,Canaiolo Nero and Malvasia Nera. Its color is a lively ruby red with an intensive fruity flavor. It is a full bodied wine which can be aged up to 10 years, we suggest it to be drunk not before its fourth year.
