Description
One of the most recent wines from Castello Il Palagio. This wine is a blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Trebbiano and Mammolo grapes. The color is a bright and light red with a dense smoky and earthy nose full of Sangiovese fruit. A medium-bodied supple wine with great concentration, good structure and dense flavors. The finish is smooth and well-balanced with good tannins.

Mercatalino 2009 Chianti
  I found Mercatalino 2009 Chianti a little light bodied for my taste. Also this label states 14%vol. The bottle that arrived is only 12%. Good wine if you like lighter Chianti's.
