| Prugnolo Gentile 80%, Merlot 10% and Cabernet Sauvignon 10%. Refined and matured for 24 months in Allier barriques and then for 12 months in the bottle. Ruby red with garnet reflexes; full-bodied, with spicy notes typical of prugnolo gentile, and violet, blackberry and raspberry; the
aromatic note given by the ageing in
barriques is also present, as well as vanilla and coffee. Full and persistent, with a
noticeable tannic presence and an
acidity that supports the general structure of the wine. A wine of considerable
aromatic impact and wealth of flavor, which ages extremely well. Goes well with red meats and game, as well as
well-matured cheeses and seasoned meats.
