| Description |
| Double Gold, San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. A consistent award winner since its 1998 debut vintage, Peņa Ridge
Cabernet is grown on the eastern slope of Bradford Mountain near Healdsburg at
elevations ranging to nearly 1000 feet. This Cab is grown and harvested in 2 unique blocks of vines, the Rocks and the Terraces. Soil in the Rocks is loose, shallow shale which provides structure to the cabernet. The Terraces step down the vertical slopes of Bradford Mountain towards Peņa Creek and impart complexity and rich fruit intensity.
Tasting Notes: Lush flavors of ripe
concentrated blackberry, currant and spices with an opaque purple color and a velvety smooth finish.
